I am a diligent, meticulous and compassionate Medical Director and Family Physician committed to providing the highest level of health care to individuals of all ages. I am a Board Certified Physician with an Active Florida License and experienced in all facets of family medicine.
I graduated from the University of the West Indies with a Natural sciences degree in 2005 and a Medical sciences M.B.B.S in 2010. Prior to embarking on a Family Medicine career, I served as a House Physician and Hospitalist in various hospital settings. I undertook a residency at Harlem Hospital, gaining experience in General Surgery and an Observership in General Surgery and Obstetric & Gynecology at the Northside Hospital Atlanta, Georgia.
Experienced in treating patients with a wide range of medical conditions, I am deeply passionate about holistic medical care. I listen attentively and take the time to examine and fully explain what’s going on with your body and provide the most effective course of treatment.
Avis Spradley Brown, DNP
Nurse Practitioner
Mother, grandmother and Nurse Practitioner, Dr. Avis Spradley Brown, is a dedicated health professional with decades of experience and commitment to her community. To accomplish these roles, she received her education from Barry University in Miami Shores, Florida, where in the year 2000, she earned a Bachelor of Science in Nursing and became licensed as a registered nurse. In 2014, Dr. Brown received a Master’s of Science in Nursing from Florida Agricultural and Mechanical University and became a licensed, accredited and board-certified nurse practitioner. Most recently, she received her Doctorate of Nursing Practice from Capella University in 2019, studying the effects of an alcohol withdrawal protocol in the acute care setting.
Dr. Brown currently works in the hospital setting as a Hospitalists APRN. With an obvious passion for using her skills to help others, she recently launched a new mobile healthcare company with her spouse. BrownDNP healthcare solutions, LLC. BrownDNP offers a unique perspective on healthcare delivery and access. Her framework includes in-person healthcare, mobile healthcare, telehealth and house calls. Ensuring all people have a preference for receiving health. Dr. Brown recently joined Monarch Healthcare.
It is her mission to serve her community and fellow providers in a way that helps them to learn, grow and strengthen their ties and sustainability. Most importantly, she wants these qualities to expand both in and outside of her community, reaching well across the globe to populations most in need.
Alongside her role in nursing, Dr. Brown is a member of the Board of Directors for the Sickle Cell Foundation of Palm Beach County and the Treasure Coast. She is a founding member of the Black Nurses of Palm Beach County and recently completed her second term as President. Dr. Brown is most proud of leading PBCBNA on a global medical mission in 2017 to Ghana Africa. Dr. Brown is the current Vice President of the Black Nurse Practitioners of Palm Beach County, a founding member, and chairperson of the conference committee. Dr. Brown’s goal is to expand the role and increase the presence of Nurse Practitioners in both the community and health care industry. In doing so, she hopes to gain valuable partnerships that will address health disparities that will lead to positive change for each and every member of the community.

Mia Andrews, NP
Nurse Practitioner
As a nurse practitioner in residential and acute care settings, I believe that everyone deserves optimal healthcare. I am driven by a strong passion for bridging the healthcare disparities gap among the underserved and underrepresented people in my community.
I began my nursing career in 1999 as a licensed practical nurse and gained valuable experience practicing in outpatient/inpatient settings, residential/home care, addiction medicine, and the correctional setting. As an empathetic caregiver and attentive listener, I provide individualized care, support and resources to help patients and their families during this difficult time.
I earned an Associate of Applied Science Degree in Nursing from Palm Beach State College in 2005 and a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Phoenix in 2009. In 2013, I obtained a Master of Science in Nursing from South University, completing the Family Nurse Practitioner Track and a terminal degree, a Doctorate in Nursing Practice, from the University of Miami in 2017.
I strive to evolve continuously and develop my craft as a nurse practitioner while staying updated on the latest healthcare solutions. My nursing expertise, strong work ethic, attention to detail and commitment to providing excellent healthcare for the underprivileged people have been the foundation of my nursing career.
